Examining The Mystery

"Commander James Shephard, Order Command First Fleet" James said, he paused.

"Well ma'am i can tell you that they are getting stronger by the day, we still out number them currently, eventually they will try to attack, and we must be ready, that is why we came to you, we think your forces can help us, why, the way your forces shot down that Chaos fighter was amazing" James said

"Yes, indeed, but, how am I suppost to get my forces to your battle lines, we lack your contraptions that make travel through the heavens possible" Terrestrial said

Kai watched as she stared at them in amazement. She sighed as she found the whole thing very complex. Kai soon stared as another radio transmission came through though slightly clearer. "This is Commander Dralig of the Order Fight Fleet Recon unit.....anyone on this channel?" The audio said as the map was soon replaced by a more futureisticly armored and older man.

"This is Commander Shephard, go ahead Commander, whats your status" James said

"We're being hammered hard Commander. The enemy leader.....landed....my charged planet. Their fleet was massive and easily decimated the Fifth fleet......We're all that's left......There was at least one Capital ship.....they also brought heavy ordinance......seemingly to aim for conquering instead.....requesting immediate aid..." The Scout commander start losing signal strength as that sector of Order started to become jammed. Kai looked at them worriedly before looking at Terrestrial.

"Ok, were on our way, hang tight, were calling in reinforcements" James paused "You have to have some form of space travel" James said, he was staring right at Terrestrial

Terrestrial looked at him "No, none" he said

"Commander Shephard to any Order ships not engaged in combat respond" James said

Kai watched them un-easily. She soon sighed and swallowed hard before walking forward to watch the holograms. "I'll go with you." She said adamantly as the holograms flickered. Order's Lorekeeper's Apprentice came into veiw. "Initiate Sei reporting in Sire. We have minimum casualties and we're on our way." The initiate said as another hologram left of her flickered to life. A tall and lean figure clad in black armor had appeared in front of them. It as none other than the Chaos King himself. Behind him lay the corpses of Order's Warriors and Commander Dralig.

"Kai, are you crazy, you shall not be leaving with them' Terrestrial said

"Indeed, she cannot come with us" James said just as the hologram changed

"Wha..." James said, he looked at Kai and saw that look in her eyes, he had seen that look in so many people's eyes before, the Chaos had gotten to her, James quickly threw the hologram projector to the floor and stepped on it causing the hologram to stop.

"We need to get her to a medical ship" James said

"What, is something wrong with my wife" Terrestrial said

"She's been infected by the Chaos" James said as he got a second comm device out, this one was on a secure channel

"Initiate Sei, ready a medical shuttle, we have contaminated" James said into the comm, this was a voice only comm's device.

"How? Oh my..." Inititate Sei trailed off as she suddenly cut communication. Kai tilted her head at him as she looked confused. "What? I feel...I feel perfectly fine." The unicorn said as she tilted her head. The ship Sei was on entered and landed on the outside of the of the palace. It was slightly damaged and there were soldiers looking like they've been crazed but still normal.

James then took Terrestrial, Kai, there kids, and several of Terrestrial's guards onto the ship, James took Kai to the sick bay, Terrestrial, the guards, and his kids were sent to a large room, there were some beds and a crib was set up for terrestrial's kids.

"Ok, make sure you watch them" Terrestrial said, his guards were trained to take care of the babies if something like this were to happen.

Terrestrial made his way to the sickbay were he waited in a waiting room while Kai was being 'De Chaosed'

Back on the bridge of the ship.

"By the order of Order Fleet Command i hereby take command of this vessel, set a course for Naval Command and enguage at maximum possible speed" Jame said

With that the ship rose and flew off to the Naval Command A.K.A. The Citadel.

Sei was craddled and rocking back in forth behind a bed in the medbay. Nobody had noticed her however she still rocked about insolitude. She was shivering as the image she saw schorched her mind. The image of the Lorekeeper's ship and escort burning just out of range. The young woman was still obviously shaken at the revelation that she was Lorekeeper now. Kai on the other hand started to struggle when they placed her on the bed in the sickbay.

Terrestrial was allowed into the medical bay to see if he could help calm his wife down and perhaps help hold her down so they might begin to de-chaos her.

His horn started to glow and then Kai's body started to glow and she stopped moving

"Its ok honey, just calm down, everything will be alright" Terrestrial said, he was actively reading her mind to see what caused the illness, he saw it, he was immune to the lure of chaos because of his Ali-Corn physiology and naturally advanced mental capabilities, but Kai was not.

With that a small device was lowered over kai's eyes and for the next 30 min lights were shined into her eyes that penetrated her mind and erased the Chaos.

Kai stopped trying to resist mentally when the light erased the chaos from her mind. However Sei was still rattled and her well trained order eye easily overcame the Chaos that was seeded in her due to her initiate trials. However it had time to integrate itself into her mind despite that Sei, now Lorekeeper remained loyal to Order. She soon got up and went to James. "James?" She asked obviously having heard of him.

"Yes Sei how can i help you" James said, he prefered being called Commander Shephard, his official military name, but he diddnt mind.

"The Lorekeeper died.." Sei said softly. She sighed while still shaking. The young woman looked at him with a concerned expression. Meanwhile Kai was getting up and moving around.

"Oh, well, who was next in line" James said

(I have no fucking idea who the Lorekeeper is)


Terrestrial was helping Kai adjust to having her memory 'fixed'

(The Lorekeeper was an npc)

Sei shook slightly. "Uh...umm...I am." She said quietly and meekly. Kai looked about as if dazed and was still confused.

"Well then, you should be doing the Lorekeepers job now shouldent you" James said

(I still have no idea who the fuck it is)

Terrestrial helped Kai stand up and he sat her down in a chair while she regained her balance.

"Well, I would but you commandeered 'MY' ship." Sei said James as she looked at him with a bit of frustration. In the mean time Kai sighed and went to check on their kids. She, for some odd reason, stopped talking and just wanted to be with her children.

"Once we get to the Citadel i will be giving you your ship back, untill then im in command" James said

"Sir, we are approching the Citadel" Said an officer.

"Citadel, this is Commander Shephard please acknowledge" James said into a comm.

"acknowledged Commander we have you on our scopes" said an officer from the Citadel over the comm.

"We request docking clearance for docking port 323-Alpha" James said

"your clear to dock at port 323-Alpha we will keep all traffic out of your way" Said the officer at the Citadel.

"Acknowledged" James said

Down in the Quarters that were arranged for Terrestrial, Kai, the guards, and their kids Terrestrial was observing Kai, he had been given instructions on signs to look for in case the chaos purge had not worked, he was also monitoring her thoughts without her knowledge. "You were ill" Terrestrial spoke up, he was concentrating on suppressing their Ali-Corn and Unicorn children's magic so that they diddnt inadvertently blow up the ship.

Kai sighed as she looked around before returning her attention to her children. She still remained silent as she went about over the events in her mind. She however tried to focus on her children to bring her mind out of the fanciful daydream state it was in.

"Kai, you are better now, just tell me if you feel anything strange" Terrestrial said to her.

----Back on the Bridge----
(Thats so much faster than doing colors, lmfao)

"We've docked" Said an officer

"Good, Sei i herby relinquish control of this vessel back to you" James paused

"Commander Shephard to the Independence, respond" James said into a comm

"Go ahead Commander, we hear you" Said an officer

"Good, are you ready to depart" James said

"Yes, we are ready" Said an officer

"Good im on my way, prepair quarters for several passengers aswell" James said.

-----Back with Terrestrial-----
"Terrestrial, you and your party are being moved to another ship, follow the officer that is being sent to your room" James said into the comms.

"We'd better go" Terrestrial said to Kai, he used his magic to levitate his children so they were floating next to him as he walked.

Kai nodded as she followed terrestrial. She was still lost in her thoughts despite her best efforts to come to reality. On the bridge Sei sighed as she looked about and sat in the Captain's chair. She soon left after the visitors were off. Kai had a sullen look as she stared at her children while walking besides her husband.

As Terrestrial and the children and the guards that they had brought with them were settling into their new room on the Independence, Terrestrial looked at Kai. "Kai, whats wrong, you haven't talked since before the medical procedure" Terrestrial said.

----On the Independence Bridge----

"Seal all hatches and release the docking clamps, open a channel to heavy fleet 2" James said

"Aye Commander, clamps hatches sealed, clamps released, and channel open" Said an officer

"This is Commander Shephard, all ships in the Second Heavy Fleet, form up on the Independence, we are going to rescue a fleet" James said, several ships acknowledged, 25 ships in total, atleast 7 of them being heavy battleships and 5 being cruisers, the rest were support ships.

A small communication from Sei managed to make it through to James. "James. I need you to do something for me." She said as she sighed. Meanwhile Kai only stood there and stared at Terrestrial before shaking her head. "It's nothing dear." She said before laying down on the bed.

"What is it Sei, kinda busy going to take back a planet, and i would really appreciate it if you called me Commander Shephard" James said into the comms.

"I know its bigger than that" Terrestrial said to Kai, he paused "a beam of magic is gazing into your mind" He said, she knew what he ment by that aswell.
